How does Solar ATAP work and which solutions qualify?

Solar ATAP is TNB's program allowing solar owners to export excess electricity to the grid. Homes are credited at the TNB Energy Charge (RM 0.2703/kWh under the RP4 tariff, or RM 0.3703/kWh above 1,500 kWh a month); businesses are credited at the monthly Average SMP. Unused export credit is forfeited at the end of each billing period. Residential and commercial grid-tied solutions can qualify, but multi-tenant strata shared rooftops are excluded.
