From ASSR to live site in 8 weeks — designed for every Malaysian site, from Klang Valley densification rooftops to Sabah's harshest grid. Hybrid solar + battery for 30m H, SST and monopole towers, feeding off 1-phase rural pole or 3-phase commercial supply.
Typical site: RM 65,000 – RM 180,000 per tower. Volume pricing for multi-site programmes.
Your acquisition team already produces an Acquisition Site Survey Report for every candidate site. We add the solar + battery layer on top — no new survey work, no parallel process, no slowdown.
Upload your standard ASSR (any candidate option, C1–C4). PDF, drive link, or WhatsApp — whatever your acquisition team uses.
48-hour turnaround: solar + battery sizing, KPKT-compliant structural drawings, single-line electrical, BOM with delivered cost to site.
PO issued, materials staged, install in 8 weeks (4 weeks for repeat designs in the same region). Commissioning in your maintenance window.
Reference packages for single-tower deployments. Multi-site pricing available — most NFP customers run programme-level POs across 10–50 sites.
* Volume pricing applies from 5+ sites. IPP / power-purchase models available for portfolio-scale rollouts.
Telco towers needing solar exist across every Malaysian state — not just remote islands. We design for four distinct site profiles, each with its own power problem and economic case.
Klang Valley, Penang, JB
Small-cell and macro-cell rooftop deployments where landlord power is unreliable or metered separately. Hybrid solar + battery cuts site OPEX and avoids generator-noise complaints.
PLUS, ELITE, KESAS, NSE
Long-haul towers near highways, often with weak grid feeds. Solar + battery supports fail-safe coverage during state-wide outages and protects toll-system backhaul.
East Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, FELDA
Long power runs, monsoon outages, diesel-supplied today. Hybrid solar replaces the diesel OPEX and the weekly fuel-truck visit while improving uptime through the wet season.
Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan
Proven case: Pulau Gaya 30m H tower. Designed for monsoon resilience, anti-theft anchoring, and 1-phase pole-supply integration where commercial power is 500m+ from the tower base.
2–3 day battery autonomy standard, scalable to 5 days for critical macro sites.
Locked enclosures, GSM tamper alerts, anti-pry mounts — designed for unmanned remote sites.
RF-zone aware crews, evening commissioning, NOC coordination throughout cutover.
NFP licensees, tower co-location providers, and regional infrastructure teams use Trexon as their solar EPCC partner.
“We sent Trexon a candidate pack with all four C-options for a remote Sabah site and got back a comparative solar+battery sizing in under 48 hours. Their input changed which candidate we picked — the cheapest land lease wasn't the cheapest power solution once you cost the trenching.”
“KPKT-compliant from day one — PE-endorsed drawings, wind-load calcs for the Sabah zones, earthing schematics that DBKK accepted as part of the existing approval pack. We didn't have to chase a single document.”
“Multi-site rollout across the Sabah east coast — first site took 8 weeks, the next four came in at 4 weeks each because they reused the design template. Through the last monsoon stretch our solar-hybrid sites stayed up while two diesel-only sites went down.”
Questions from NFP power-design teams and site acquisition managers.
Yes. Send us the standard Acquisition Site Survey Report (ASSR) you already produce for tower acquisition. We extract site coordinates, tower height and structure type, distance to commercial power, KPKT compliance status, and the chosen candidate option (C1–C4). You don't need to produce any new survey artefacts for the solar layer — we work from what your acquisition team has already signed off.
All ground-mount and tower-mount structures we design meet the KPKT 2018 telecommunications infrastructure guidelines. We provide PE-endorsed structural drawings, wind-load calculations for the relevant Sabah/Sarawak zones, and earthing schematics that DBKK, MBKS, and other local councils accept as part of the existing tower approval pack.
Both. Rural Sabah and Sarawak sites are commonly fed by 1-phase pole supply 100m+ away from the tower base, and our hybrid inverters are sized accordingly. For 3-phase commercial power (typical at peri-urban macro sites) we deploy 3-phase string inverters with grid-export disable and load-side connection so we don't trigger TNB/SESB licensing thresholds.
Yes. Send us the candidate options pack and we'll return a comparative solar+battery sizing for each — factoring shading, road access for material delivery, security risk profile, and cost of running power to the tower. This usually shifts which candidate the acquisition team picks, because the cheapest land lease isn't always the cheapest power solution.
Hybrid is the default for any site where commercial power is within ~500m and the 1-phase or 3-phase supply has acceptable availability. Solar+battery covers outages and reduces diesel runtime; the grid handles long monsoon stretches. Pure off-grid is reserved for sites where the grid is >500m away, the trenching cost exceeds the lifetime fuel saving, or terrain (island, river crossing, protected forest) makes a power run impractical.
8 weeks per site for the first deployment in a region (covers ASSR review, design, KPKT submission, material staging, install, commissioning). 4 weeks per site for repeat deployments in the same region — design templates and material kits are reused, and our crews are already mobilised. We routinely run 3–5 sites in parallel during a regional rollout.
Standard on every remote site. Locked steel enclosures for inverters and batteries, gravel-base anti-pry mounts on ground-mount arrays, panel-edge security bolts, and GSM tamper alerts that ping the NOC the moment an enclosure is opened. Optional: solar-powered IP CCTV with motion detection and night vision integrated into the existing tower CCTV feed.
Yes. Evening and overnight commissioning is standard for live macro sites — we coordinate the cutover with your NOC, run on temporary feed during the switch, and limit RF-zone work to scheduled windows. For greenfield sites with no live traffic, we commission in daylight with full integration testing the same day.
Send your ASSR or candidate pack and we'll return a sized solar+battery proposal within 48 hours.
