How to choose between these products

The products on this page sit around a solar system rather than replacing it. Some are installed and quoted by Trexon, and some are listed only as a reference for developers and engineers. Knowing which is which saves time, because the right first question differs for each one.

• Battery storage. Worth considering if you use most of your electricity in the evening or want backup. Our active residential range pairs SolisStorage IntelliHome with a Solis inverter and Huawei LUNA with a Huawei SUN2000 inverter, so decide on the inverter first. Solar ATAP export credits are forfeited monthly, which is one reason to use more of your own generation.
• Solar water heater and heat pump. A separate way to cut the energy spent on hot water. Systems are from RM3,800 installed. Ask how many people use hot water and where the unit would be placed.
• EV chargers. AC charging suits homes, offices and strata sites, while DC fast charging is for commercial fleets. Tell us where the car parks and the electrical supply at that location.

Trina BIPV, Trina Storage and Trina Tracker are not stocked by Trexon. They are quoted per project, so expect an engineering or feasibility discussion rather than a catalogue price. They are most relevant to developers, architects and large-scale projects.

What to have ready when you ask

A recent TNB bill, the type of property, and whether you already have solar or are planning it. If you are buying solar as well, our packages start from RM19,499 for a 5.58 kWp system with Solis, with Huawei adding RM3,000 and Sungrow adding RM5,000. The RM2,000 booking is non-refundable and is credited to the system price.
