A solar water heater, an air-source heat pump and a hybrid system suit different homes. Choose by how much hot water you use and when. Solar collectors work best on sunny days, a heat pump runs day and night regardless of weather, and the hybrid combines both for larger households.
For a quote, have these ready: the number of people in your home or the type of premises, how you heat water today (electric element or gas), and whether you have space for a tank and roof access for collectors. Systems start from RM3,800, RM6,800 and RM12,500, and the final price is quoted per home because payback depends on how much hot water you use.
