How much land is required for a utility-scale solar farm?
As a general rule of thumb in Malaysia, 1 Megawatt (MWac) requires approximately 3 to 4 acres of usable land. This accounts for the panel arrays, access roads, string inverters, and the main step-up substation. The exact ratio depends heavily on site topography and whether fixed-tilt or single-axis tracker structures are utilized.

Yes. Grid interconnection is often the most complex aspect of utility-scale project development.
