Can I charge my EV using solar panels?
Solar generation can power an EV directly during daylight, subject to production, home use and charger settings. A battery stores surplus only when that option is selected; it is not included in every solar + EV package.
What is included in the solar EV bundle?
Our bundles include: Tier-1 solar panels, a correctly sized inverter, the Schneider Charge Pro EV charger (7.4–22 kW AC, RM6,499 installed), complete installation, TNB Solar ATAP application, and a 30-year panel performance warranty. Solar-only Solis bundles use a grid-tied inverter; compatible SolisStorage includes the required hybrid upgrade, while Huawei uses the SUN2000 platform.
How long does it take to install a solar EV bundle?
On-site installation usually takes 1–2 days, covering the solar panels, wiring, inverter and EV charger. From booking to TNB commissioning, including the Solar ATAP application, typically takes 6–10 weeks.
Is financing available for solar EV bundles?
Financing options may be available subject to eligibility. A Trexon consultant will confirm the current terms, deposit and monthly instalment for your selected equipment and installation scope.
