What you'll do
- Produce PV layouts in HelioScope for residential (6–15 kWp) and commercial (50–500 kWp) sites
- Run shading analyses and select panel orientation that maximises savings (not just kWh)
- Size string configurations to match approved inverter brands (Huawei, Solis, GoodWe)
- Generate proposal-grade drawings in AutoCAD: site plan, panel layout, single-line excerpts
- Review installer feedback after commissioning and update the design library
Outcomes by month 3
- By month 3, you will have personally designed 8+ live PV systems totalling 200+ kWp
- Author at least one published Trexon case study with your name on it
- Become fluent in MD-charge reduction maths and the GITA 60% incentive
- Build a portfolio of HelioScope + AutoCAD files you can show any future employer
Who we're looking for
- Year 3+ undergraduate or fresh graduate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering

- Comfortable with at least one CAD tool (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar)
- Available for 3 consecutive months, minimum 4 days/week
Nice to have (not required)
- Prior exposure to HelioScope, PVsyst, or SAM
