Trexon Energy (Thither Global (M) Sdn Bhd) is a SEDA Registered PV Service Provider designing and installing grid-connected solar PV systems for homes and businesses across Peninsular Malaysia under Solar ATAP.
We are hiring a SEDA-certified GCPV Wireman Chargeman to serve as the company's Qualified Person for grid-connected PV installations, and to lead installation, testing and commissioning on site.
What you will do
- Act as the company's SEDA Qualified Person (GCPV Wireman Chargeman) for our Registered PV Service Provider registration
- Supervise and carry out the AC and DC electrical installation of rooftop grid-connected PV systems
- Perform testing and commissioning of GCPV systems and sign off the required test reports
- Coordinate with TNB for meter change and system energisation under Solar ATAP
- Ensure installations comply with SEDA guidelines, the Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and site safety requirements
- Guide installation crews and check workmanship on residential and commercial sites
Requirements
- Valid SEDA Malaysia Qualified Person certificate, category GCPV Wireman Chargeman (SPCPWC)
- Valid Suruhanjaya Tenaga competency as a Wireman or Chargeman
- Hands-on experience installing and commissioning grid-connected solar PV systems
- Willing to travel to project sites within Peninsular Malaysia
- Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
Nice to have
- Experience with Solar ATAP or NEM applications and TNB meter change
- Familiarity with Huawei, Solis or Sungrow inverters
- Own transport
