GCPV Systems Design Engineer (SEDA Qualified Person)

Trexon Energy (Thither Global (M) Sdn Bhd) is a SEDA Registered PV Service Provider designing and installing grid-connected solar PV systems for homes and businesses across Peninsular Malaysia under Solar ATAP.
We are hiring a SEDA GCPV Systems Design certified engineer to design our systems and prepare the technical documents for SEDA and TNB submissions.
What you will do
- Design grid-connected PV systems for residential and commercial rooftops, from string sizing to protection and single line diagrams
- Prepare technical drawings, single line diagrams and design documents for Solar ATAP submissions to SEDA and TNB
- Size systems against customer TNB bills, maximum demand and Solar ATAP capacity limits
- Review site and roof information and select suitable panels, inverters and mounting
- Support the installation team during testing and commissioning
Requirements
- Valid SEDA Malaysia Qualified Person certificate, category GCPV Systems Design (SPCPDN)
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience designing grid-connected solar PV systems in Malaysia
- Working knowledge of Solar ATAP guidelines and TNB interconnection requirements
- Malaysian citizen or permanent resident
Nice to have
- PVsyst, Helioscope or AutoCAD experience
- Experience with commercial systems and maximum demand sizing
- GCPV Wireman Chargeman certificate as well
