Help reduce electricity costs for this community mosque serving 500+ families.
The Story
Masjid Kampung Baru has been serving the Muslim community in this historic neighborhood for over 50 years. The mosque operates various programs including tahfiz classes, community welfare, and daily prayers that attract hundreds of worshippers.
With rising electricity costs, the mosque now spends over RM2,500 monthly on electricity alone - money that could be better used for community programs and helping the needy. The masjid committee has been struggling to maintain the building while managing these costs.
By installing a solar system, we can reduce the mosque's electricity bill, allowing more funds to be directed towards community welfare, educational programs, and building maintenance. Trexon Energy is proud to contribute 20% (RM7,000) to this noble cause.
